• Child Protective Services (CPS)
– Investigates reports of suspected child abuse or neglect and takes action on substantiated cases
• Special Needs Adoption Program
– Offers information, support, and placement services to persons interested in adopting hard-to-place Indiana children
• Foster Care
– Places children who are wards of the court into temporary foster homes and recruits, licenses, and supervises foster parents
– Foster care is intended to provide a safe, nurturing stable, and temporary environment for children who can no longer remain in their homes due to risk of abuse or neglect
